Can not join any server through gametracker

I have tried multiple times to join a server through game tracker for SWBF 2 and every time I try to join, the game just freezes. I wants me to enter my gamespy info. Since gamespy is gone...what do I do? I am able to join other servers through game ranger just fine. I can't figure out what I am missing. Thanks in advance for any help.

Gameracker join thing is kinda useless (no offense to devs...)

to play online u need to go to gameshare.co and get a modified game exe, any server you see on gametracker is being hosted from gameshare service.

when u have the modded exe just play the game without gametracker and when u reach gamespy login screen, ignore it and click "join" at the top

you will then be able to join any server with what ever name is on your saved profile

Now that gameshare.co has shut down, what do we do? I see people playing but last night I couldn't see any servers when running my client and couldn't join mine using your Gametracker lite app... Help!

Gamemaster has transferred their binaries to SWBFgamers.com. You will need a new hosts file or an updated exe to point to SWBFspy.com

Visit us at www.SWBFgamers.com if you need any help getting your server back.

Nice, now I need to know what to do to restore my server into operation. I have the updated client but want to get my server back up.

You can host with through your game just as in the old days (but you will need to set up portforwarding if you are at home). Or, you can run a dedicated server using the SWBF2 dedicated server software. In this case, you will need a patch for the server. You can get these from www.SWBFgamers.com and if you get stuck you can ask us on the website.
