up until a few days ago i could see mp servers but now nothing??? any ideas? I've tried reinstalling game; checking firewall, etc. only way to join a game is from the list of servers on gametracker...

Having same problem

For the last 2 days I can't get any on line SOF II servers. I re-downloaded the game, did port forwarding, eliminated firewall, downloaded the latest patch but mysteriously the servers are vanished. By the way I can get to the internet no problem. Does anyone have the same problems or any ideas how to resolve this?

I played SOF II for several years ago, now i reloaded my old version with the GOLD. and as you said, seemse like them have shut down the Master server.. Becous when i click refresh and all this it does not appairs to be any servers there..

Anyway since this happend i was looking like a maniac on the net for some kind of help.. found this G thing, and downloaded it.. anyway the servers eint possible anyway to connect to, either it says console 2002, or console 2004.. or viseverse..

this is making me realy frustrating, anyone post me, since i have one more trouble shoot. and that is becous i have change connection from Cable --> T3, to Wireless --> T3.. and have this router, so i dunno if i have to change some settings in the mainrouter?..

well hope i can get any good out of this, by the way sorry for my realy bad english, i hope it's readble..

As oldgoofy said above if Raven has shut down the Master Server there is no way we can get back to the game unless we lock to a particular server ip. Perhaps Raven is doing maintenance and this is something temporary. By the way do not think that the problem is your Router since I replaced mine yesterday and still cant get to the master server. I have placed an inquiry to Activision and they are trying to help me. I do not believe that it is the Master Server being down for maintenance otherwise they would have told me already. As soon as I have a solution or know what is causing the pfroblem I will all let you know. Perhaps all the players who are experiencing this frustrating issue by not being able to access anymore the multiplayer servers may consider to let Activision know of the problem. Go to http://activision.custhelp.com and tell them that you can not access the multiplayer servers-Cheers

sfnick-Thank you for the Qtracker tip. I have downloaded the program but when I try to join a game I get a message that SERVER PROTOCOL IS 2002. Any idea how to bypass this?

Just thought to update the latest with my issue of not being able to join public servers for SOF II on line gaming and for other players who experience the same problem.
I have not received any response to my problem from Activision yet .
The qtracker works for some servers who operate on Protocol 2004. So I managed at least to join thru Qtracker some servers. It seems like a good program to have for on line gaming.
I have also downloaded the latest SOF II Gold patch 1.03.
Still can not get to many servers since I get a message protocol 2002.
