Battlefield 4 Won't Include Motion Control
Battlefield 4 will not include motion controls. In a new interview, DICE executive producer Patrick Bach explained that he doesn’t see motion control as a necessary addition since it wouldn’t enrich the experience.

“We are not interested in things that don’t make the game better,” Bach told Edge. “There are a lot of gimmicks – people throwing money at us – ‘can you implement support for this quirky control thing?’ No, it doesn’t make the game better.”

Bach added that the studio is “extremely open to innovation, but if it’s a gimmick, there’s no point unless it adds value to the player. Touch screens used to be a gimmick, because no one could get it to work until iPhone came out and used it right. It adds to the experience, and now everyone is doing it. To us it’s the same with motion control and perceptual gaming in general; if it adds, great. If it’s a gimmick, ignore it.”

Welcome to the wonderful world of EA. The company that not only ruined the fantastic Battlefield series after Battlefield 2 with their COD clone with the ability to drive and fly, but also still rip people money out of their wallets by giving them a game that's not meeting their wishes.

It's also cool how EA thinks they can fool players from the Battlefield 2 era by saying they added something new and cool, the Commander mode. Wake up EA, the Commander mode was ALREADY in Battlefield 2. You may be able to fool the kiddies here, but not this seasoned Battlefield 2 veteran.

Let's all wait for Battlefield 5 next year, which promises to be so cool because it's nothing more than a copy and paste job. Oh yeah, they added distructable buildings! OMG! SO COOL! Not.

Not gonna happen Maximus. Mod tools = less money. A public SDK would take away from their bullshit expansion pack sales. So, once again, the fans get screwed.

How about this... ADD FULL MOD TOOLS SUPPORT! Its not a gimmick, and the community has been begging for it to come back for years!
