hello every one.....
i am a beginner here...i want to start a dedicated server so i will be able to play with my friends online...privately....i watched some videos on internet about starting a dedicated server....i am able to make one....but i want it tracked by game tracker....furthermore...my server does not show in game server list....and i cant tell my friends how to join my server.....i want a full from basic help....on doing this,,i hpe someone will help me by giving each step instruction help...

You'd have to add the server first;

Since you requested basic help, here's where you need to add the server;



Navigate to the link above and select the correct game and IP:port of your server.



If you have issues doing that, hopefully this thread will clear up some issues;

The server's;

Ip:port
Query port...

first things first...how do i find my query port.....also what is my ip address...my public ip address.?....i tried doing by writting in my public ip address but game tracker shows the error factors list......so i cant do it......and my server does nt show on the game server list...if i try to join my server from some other network

Your query port is, or needs to be, in your game configuration file.

You are going to have to have 'port forwarding' capability on your router (not all have it) and know how to configure it.
We don't offer support for router configuration - they come with documentation and help files for that purpose.

In my honest opinion, if you are struggling to find your public IP and join port, I believe it would be safer for you, your PC and anyone else using your home network, to consider a dedicated hosting service for your server. Most will provide a pre-installed, pre-configured and internet connected server for the price.

www.gameservers.com is one of many options available to you...
