A group of us that love the game have created a stat server and login server to replace the shut down gamespy services for this game. We have recently opened up the server for anyone to join and since 12/25/14 we have had 410 unique soldiers/players on our server. Since the protocol is pretty much identical to BF2, I have gametracker running against our current server, but it confuses folks since is says BF2 on it. URL is:

As we continue to validate and improve the servers we plan to add more folks with servers connecting to the replacement stat server. In fact we will have a second one running soon.

I think you just have to re-enable the old code you had. Hopefully it is that easy, .

Due to query protocol changes and lack of demand - support for this game was removed from Gametracker.com a few months ago. Unless there is significant enough interest, it is not likely to be re-added.

we would love to have the 2142 gametracker back up.. 400+ inquiries of the server.. please bring back the 2142 code..

I would really appreciate if you brought it back up. It would bring more people into the server. We have had over 430 people play on the server. And whats the difficulty with adding it?

Since the shutdown BF2142 has made significant bounds towards it's former glory. We'd love to see your support in the restoration! And I know I used to enjoy having gametracker available.

People quit when GameSpy shut down, and people quit when they realized GameRanger would never provide full weapon and item unlocks. Now that this alternative with full functionality exists, people WILL return to it, but they have to know about it. GameTracker, and its banners, is one of the best ways to tell everyone that Battlefield 2142 is BACK, and in full force!

There was no cutting corners, and the developers of this alternate master server system put a hell of a lot of hard work into it. All their efforts at least deserve a listing. There are already several groups interested in adding their servers to the listing, and more and more players are joining every day, from GameRanger and just from hearing about it (even in Battlefield 2, 3, and 4 from other players).

I to am in support of seeing gametracker support back for the fabulous game. Besides all of the work these guys put into it, with the release of Final Stand in BF4 which is really centered around the prequel to 2142 it is renewing interest in the old classic once again.

Having Gametracker back can only help in the revitalization. Thanks for the consideration
