Since we had an old movie thread, I thought we might as well have one here.
Just watched Inception. Holy crap . . . Mind blown. A dream within a dream within a dream within . . . wow. ![]() |

I personally thought it had higher entertainment value than the first one. The plot felt more significant versus the first one.
Also, not necessarily an old move but, Blood Diamond |

Still haven't watched the second Hunger Games, but I've read all three novels. Usually my local discount theater shows the "big" movies a month or so later, but it's been disappointing me lately. They didn't have Thor 2 or Hunger Games 2.
![]() They did have Ender's Game, which I saw about 2 weeks ago, thought was pretty great, but it did poorly in sales. Same for John Carter, which I caught a few weeks ago on TV. Fun movie. I loved Inception. Saw it twice in the theater. |

+1 for momento. one of the best movies ive seen.
i caught "The Aviator" on IFC last night. really awesome movie about Howard Hughes with Leonardo DiCaprio playing him. thought it was excellent, i've seen it before, its rather long but well done. if anyone likes martial arts movies i really have to suggest "Ip Man". the sequel was garbage, but the first one was excellent as far as martial arts movies come by. one of my favorite go-to movies i can always rewatch is "Boondock Saints" Awesome movie about 2 irish brothers who get sick of all the mob and criminals in their city and decide to take action against them. the infamous "cat scene" is horribly funny (both comical and horrible at the same time) i couldn't really get into inception, i watched about 3/4 of the movie, but just couldn't finish it. it seemed like something you need to see in the theaters to get the full experience. |
