In addition to shutting down online services for legacy games, they will also be removed from online storefronts such as Steam. The cancelled UT4 project will also become unavailable.

The good news is that community patches are available, and I have installed a mod that will update your ini files to look for the new community master server. After the shutdown, players will need to join via favorite or IP address, or edit their UT2004.ini to point to the new server.

Hey there, so I've not played in a few years, but I of course have the new master server working and can play online freely! But the problem is, all my characters names have been reset! I'm not sure why this would be, as upon trying a different Invasion RPG server, I still have my old levels. I have my characters on other servers.

If anyone is still active here, is there any way to restore my old levels please? I still have the same UT2004 copy and ID and all that, so I'm really not sure why the DC server doesn't have my stuff anymore. I had several characters leveled well past 100, and 1 in particular was literally fully leveled lol, with every ability max basically.

My highest level was Annihilator which was Adrenaline class, PerfectShot was the weapon class, PrizmaticRefractor was I believe the 'ClassicRPG' class which you guys didn't add until later, Moneytaker I believe was the Monster Master/Medic class, and Autopsy was my Engineer. I think I had a few other smaller ones too, and it's possible I mixed up a name here but, I'm pretty sure all those are correct! But all of those were above level 100 I believe, except Autopsy may have been slightly under 100, Annihilator was the highest for sure.

Also, it's not saying I am an Imposter either. So it's likely my characters just got lost somehow. Would be a great Christmas gift to get my characters back somehow! Thanks mates
