Official Announcement.
In addition to shutting down online services for legacy games, they will also be removed from online storefronts such as Steam. The cancelled UT4 project will also become unavailable. The good news is that community patches are available, and I have installed a mod that will update your ini files to look for the new community master server. After the shutdown, players will need to join via favorite or IP address, or edit their UT2004.ini to point to the new server. |
