UT2004 Constructor Mod

So long story short, I was feeling a bit of Nostalgia and decided to rent a server off of gameservers and Setup a good ol Construction server. If you are clueless come poke your head in for 2 minutes.



After a long night of messing with mutators, trying to find files for maps ETC, I finally got most of it done. Except for the main course... The constructor gun. Basically takes place of link gun giving you the ability to spawn static meshes inside your designated building area. The only problem is I have no idea how to setup meshes. Hours of online searching and hours of rage, I decided to see if anyone on here could help me. As this is the only ut forum I know..

SO I have Constructor.u

I try ucc dumpint Constructor.u only to get an error.

Along with

ucc extractcache Constructor.u error again.

The map that I do have calls for the gun, so upon spawning you can pick it up no problem. The thing is, no meshes are working. Maybe without .ini file It won't work? Which makes no sense because I can pick it up...

Here are the files I've downloaded.

With these decompressed and in their appropriate folders. I finnally had access to The constructor gun. But the only thing is, it's not loading MESHES! D:

I have no idea what im doing wrong. Nor do I know where to look for a solution. So I turn to you.

This forum

has contents for the ini. I suppose I could just make my own?

I checked to see if the static meshes are downloaded and they are. But when cycling through on my server only one mesh shows up
. Kinda like a smoky emitter.

I guess this is a long shot but does anybody know what could possibly be wrong? I'd really appreciate any help, as this is my last mutator to set up to be able to have a fully functional Construction server.

So I got a different version of the constructor working, unfortunatley this version allows you to build ANYWHERE in the map. Which is a problem for me, because people could spam build the spawn. With the other version, it allows console commands to set properties for each player based on their ID.

If anybody has a clue, or would like to help me out. PLEASE get back to me.
