Do you think you could get some cannons to work?

The jump pads used to work by dropping down into the cannon space, but I have no idea how to code a workable cannon like in Mario 64, and even if I could, it probably would be cumbersome to use. I could put a cannon decoration into the those spots, I guess, and make a trigger that goes "boom" when you jump on it.

Just uploaded a new version of CTF-Aedes-SE.

Now harder to get under terrain.
Now deadlier to hide under terrain.
Changed blocking volumes a bit so you can reach some of the upper area in the center of the map.
Added some vehicle spawns and grenade launcher pickups (changes to mine layer on server.) I wouldn't consider this a VCTF map though.
Fixed bio rifle spawns near flags (they had bio ammo next to them, but did not spawn any weapons.)
Fixed red team spawn on blue side (not that it matters for inv.)
Now has a default music track (KR-Atlantis)
Music switches on cliffs in central area... just aim for the flags with your trans.

Can someone edit the blockfort map so the four coloured blocks have rooms inside them where we can build a base, have wep lockers, etc

I'll have to think about that one. I know it's not that engineer-friendly, but not all maps have to be. I do plan to do something to it soon though.


I updated two maps today:

VCTF-MistyGlen-LE-R1
Kill volume under terrain.
Floating tree doesn't float.
Added a Lynx spawn on both sides.
Improved lighting a bit.
Removed turrets from both tower platforms so engineers can spawn their own.

CTF-TajMahal-DC-2
Raptor and manta spawns (4 each.)
Improved pickups.
Changed central pool to make it vehicle/monster friendly. Sloped sides so you can drive through it, and no longer has a water volume.
Indented the green statues back a bit to make small base areas.
You can now use the upper ledges on either side (as in block fort) in addition the you can also go in the towers where i put some avril and lightning ammo.

Scaled map from 125% to 150% of original
More work on pathing and pickups
Removed several buildings to make map flow better
Added some cliff meshes and worked on terrain and blocking volumes to better reflect the boundaries of the map
made the fluid surface less weird.
Changed water volume from on large one to several small ones - it had been possible to get under the map and avoid the kill zone by floating in the volume.
Music switches on cliff by waterfall, touch one of the statues.

Changes:

All external packages now embedded in map
Compressed and reworked many textures
Lots of brand new textures and shaders (look for shout outs to DC players on many of them)
New models to replace primitive BSP sofas, lamps and tables
Rebuilt much of the map, especially the entertainment center
Redid lighting
Pathed the map properly for invasion (original had almost no navigation points)
Added vehicle spawns for invasion
Blocking volumes
Improved network performance and reworked pickups
Music switches in the small hidden room in the subwoofer (touch the X logos)
