There was a mixup and we lost all of our maps, but it's OK because I put in some new ones and they are TONS better.

New Maps (2014-01-28)
I spent some time uploading some familiar maps from both the old DC lineup and the early days of DEK along with some brand new ones. I didn't test all of these maps thoroughly so please post in the map forum to report any slow files that might not be on the redirect, or any major glitches, or just plain slow or unfun maps. Chances are there WILL be a few missing files.

Also, I uploaded several 1on1 maps.... most of them we had on DEK but some might be too small for a full player load. After we play them a few times we'll figure out which are worth keeping, if any.

I also rotated a few of the UT2004 stock maps. DM-Corrugation, DM-Morpheus3, BR-Canyon, CTF-Colossus, CTF-Face3, DM-1on1-Desolation, DOM-Conduit, DOM-ScorchedEarth are out, CTF-Maul, CTF-Magma, CTF-Orbital2, DM-Inferno, DOM-Outrigger and DOM-Ruination are in.

Lag Issues
Please follow these instructions next time you experience extreme lag, can't see monsters or shots, or can't join the server so we can report the info to our host provider.

Added a new update today. The new blocks are live on the server. Generals get wooden blocks, regular Engineers and Mechanized Infantry get cinder blocks, and Base Builders get metal blocks. There is a new vehicle, the Lynx, which is a scorpion that shoots homing rockets. Scorpion and Lynx blades now don't break. You can now summon either a red or blue SuperBeast. The emitter effects from running over a monster with the Beast are less extreme now. Last but not least, the link sentinel has a new look.

Known bugs: I tried to make both the Super Beast and the Raptor lockable but no luck. In other words, same as before. Part of the link sentinel doesn't disappear when it dies/is removed.

Subclasses and more
We now have a subclass for Weapon Masters, Heavy Infantry. Mechanized Infantry has been changed quite a bit, read the details in the Engineer thread. Generals don't get heal blast any more since they were a bit too capable with both heal and shield blast. Also, as a test before we work on the AM class, we removed the Energy enchantment and increased adrenal drip from 1 adren/second to 3 adren/second for AMs. Other classes that got drip 3 now get drip 1.

I updated the keybind and .ini tweaks thread with a lot of new info, like how to turn off the invasion radar "beep" and how to remove those repetitive hints from your loading screens. I will add more tips as I think of them or people remind me (thanks Treloar.)

I've been working on some music packs that replace the standard UT2004 music with extended-play tracks. Instead of a short song that loops after 2 or 3 minutes, you get a selection of songs that will play for much longer before looping. This is based on my personal set that I made a few years ago, but I'm also revisiting a few of the tracks and I will post some alternates too. I only have a couple of them uploaded so far, you can download them in the music thread along with the music packs for custom maps I posted a few weeks ago.
