Tides of War is a membership gaming community versus a clan. We do sponsor several battle groups that participate in various COD4 competitive ladders. We also sponsor servers for several other game types (BF2, IL2, etc) and TeamSpeak for a large WoW community. All at no charge to the players. We have learned that you cannot guarantee a cheat free environment. We do ban players for cheating when it's blatant and followed with very bad language. We do not tolerate the abuse of players on any level. We have worked with several other clans/communities that play at ToW. We have a track history of banning entire clans (for abusive behavior coupled with suspicion of cheating) and we have worked with other clans that play suspiciously but never cause disruptions. We would prefer to work with a clan through direct dialogue and ask that since we cannot prevent cheating, we ask them when playing on our servers to leave the cheating behind. When it works, it works well. When it doesn't work, bans follow. There are no guarantees you will ever play in a hack free environment, unless you stick to the single player version.

If you like to play on a server which won't ban a player if there is no firm "confirmation" of hacking, this is the one. If we can get "proof", not just accusations from less skilled players, that person is banned.. for life! We have a great group of adults and a separate group of teens who play for fun and entertainment and a respect for tactical rules. Give it a try, you might find a pleasant surprise!

If you are the type of person that don't mind playing with proven hackers on a server, then this might be a server for you. So if you are caught hacking, don't worry, no perm ban, they will just ask you to stop the hacking and play on. For this reason I will not play with known hackers on this server anymore.

If you like a good monitored server .. covered by admins .. servers that have rules .. give this one a try :)
