My Clan and I decided to run a custom mod, with some changes by me and a few others, and more changes on there way, but it is an all sniping server. In our mod, we do limit what guns you are allowed to use, so there is no chances of someone pulling a mp5 out and using it on most other "sniping only" servers I been on. Well for more of a breakdown, this is what it has to offer. A list of items included for use in game. * You are allowed any of the sniper rifles * You can carry 1 side arm. * all perks are allowed with the exception of Martydom, Last Stand, Overkill, and the Rocket Launchers. * suppressors add-ons are on for the pistols and the ACOG scope for the rifles. (**Best not to use the ACOG scope, that eliminates your zoom feature. Explained below**) * All Grenades are allowed * A Range finder has been installed to tell your the distance of the object you are aiming at. (listed in Yards). * The M40A3 is suppressed, meaning it is a silenced gun. Soon we will have the M21 silenced. * Multiple zooms available, from 1X to 32X zoom * Drop and use Health pack (Press and Hold USE for 5 - 10 seconds standing still, Times will be fixed in the future) * You are able to jump 3 feet up or 1 yard. * Bleeding starts at 20% health and will take you down to 1%, Health packs will stop the bleeding. If you are to far down, you could be dead, so use your health packs wisely. * Each person starts each life with 3 health packs. When you die, you drop one along with any unused grenades and special grenades. * 9 health packs are allowed to be carried at any given time, cant have more then 9. * Health bar is shown * Redirect Downloading is fully functional, and is working 100%. Average speed of a download is between 900 kbs and 1.2 mbs. * Much more, I will keep adding to the list. Maps/Server Types We are on just a 3 map rotation, and yes, one of them is a custom map, I will try adding more, but I have to find maps where the creators actually packed them correctly and included all models, this mod is very unforgiving when it comes to the custom maps. The rotation runs these maps, * mp_creek * mp_overgrown * mp_Pripyat * mp_lsb_gloomy_moor * mp_farmland_beta_night * mp_backwoods_v2 The custom map we are running is the mp_Pripyat Sneak Preview of mp_Pripyat http://youtube.com/watch?v=vPu2fFQbaRU The server is running Team Death Match only because we believe in team work. We do have a TeamSpeak server that you guys can use if you like during game. Tournaments/Ladder Headshot also suggested about possibly starting up a Ladder. I was thinking of doing maybe small tournaments, but a ladder would probably be better. I will keep you guys posted on that, I have some nuke tricks up my selves to setting that up on our site and the community. I will be posting updates on my website for information about the ladder. When I get more I will inform HeadShot on this if guys/girls are interested in testing your skills. Sounds and some graphics have been altered in this mod, but it is a fun time when playing. **Side Note** We do ask, that you try sticking mainly to sniping. We do allow the pistols for close quarters combat, and for use when you are on the move, but if we find that people are abusing that, we may drop the amount of rounds you get, or remove the pistols all together. We do ask that you play nice and no putting down people. We are streaming PB so no cheating. Other then that, have fun, and happy huntings.
