Welcome to the 1stSF/SS Tactical Server. While playing on our server, please adhere to the following rules we have set forth.

1 - Follow all requests/orders from "Console" and/or any member wearing the 1stSF/SS tags. If you have any issues, please take them to the Senior Clan member, or MP on duty, on the server.

Running and Gunning is charging around, shooting from the hip, with ANY weapon, in a repetitive fashion, with no regard for your life or safety, or that of your teammates. We're not simulating Rambo here. Random kills do occur when you're running for safety and you come accross an enemy, and then open fire. This is just dumb luck. Room clearing via running and gunning is acceptabe, as long as you're NOT charging around an entire structure, going from room to room as fast as you can.

Nade Spamming is tossing a grenade blindly into choke points that the opposing team must pass through (misuse, to get an advantage, of your knowledge of a map), over buildings when you hope to get a lucky kill, nading a spot because someone was hiding around that corner or in that spot last round, or in the first 15 seconds of any round to again get a lucky kill.

No throwing grenades over 2-story buildings, period. Single story buildings are okay, provided the player knows there is an enemy on the other side, as usual.

Acceptable nade practices are...

1 - Room clearing. When clearing a room with a grenade, you must check the room afterwards or it will be considered nade-spamming.
2 - To decieve the enemy, but not nading choke points.
3 - If you see/hear/or were relayed via TS, that an enemy went to a spot.

Team Killing/Team Wounding is just like it says. If you intentionally do this, you shall be subject to a kick/ban, depending on the Admin on duty, on the server, and the circumstances of the incident. Please apologize for any accidental TK's/TW's IN PUBLIC CHAT. That way the Admin will see the apology. No apology means you did it on purpose to the Admin. DO NOT retaliate for TK's or Team Wounding, doing so will subject you to disciplinary action as well. Just let the Clan OIC or MP know and they will deal with it.

Bunny Hopping & Peepee Dancing to avoid getting shot WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. How many soldiers did this war...NONE. So don't do it here.

Prone Drop is when you are moving around the map in the standing/crouched position, locate an enemy, with your sight up or bring up your sights, and immediately drop to prone position and fire. You can't do this in real life, so you can't do it here either. We tested it and it can't be done.

Ledging/Standing in Window Sills Ledging is standing or moving on a ledge that is less than approximately 6 inches wide. Its a glitch in the game, or an exploit. Again, you can't do it in real life, so don't do it here. Standing in Window Sills, is not permitted either. Sure you can jump into/on to the window sill, but you must go into, or remain in the crouched position. We understand that the game does not permit leaning out of a widow while standing on the floor, so you are permitted to jump on to a sill, but you must remain in the crouched position at all times.

Vote Calling Is ONLY permitted by clanmembers. If you are NOT a clan member, and call a vote, expect to be banned.

The following will not be tolerated and will get you a kick/tempban/ban(AdminDiscretion)
Use of - Hacks/Cheats and Glitch abuse
Foul language.
Spamming of words/numbers/signs/binds.
Sexually oriented, derogatory comments.
Voice chat abuse.
Racial/Ethnic Slurs

Unless you have permission from an MP or Officer,the posting/texting or asking for the following will get you banned instantly...

Rival clan forums/ts/IP's.
Personal/Clan e-mail addys. including xfire, aim, & messenger addies.

And finally, if you try to recruit here, on our server, you will be caught, and you will be banned. We record the server logs, and review them constantly for indiscretions.

All this comes down to people is if you can't do it, or wouldn't do it in real life...DON'T DO IT HERE and all shall be fine.

The 1stSF/SS originally started out as two teams: The 1stSF and the 17thSS.

The 1st Special Service Forces (1stSF) was founded on November 15th 2002 as an ultra-realism clan for Medal of Honor: Allied Assault named after the famed World War II unit. 1stSF was founded on the principles of real life war making. Many of its early members were ex-service men and ex/current law enforcement agents. Each member had a love for world war two and tactical game play and all came with ideas on how to make it better. 1stSF is one of the oldest and most popular world war two gaming clans on the net.

The 17 Schultzstaffel (17thSS) was started also in 2002 but the exact date is unknown. The 17thSS was started as a small group of people dedicated to the tactical cause and brought their own flavor into it. They were a relatively unknown team until the time they met the 1stSF. During the year 2003 the teams decided that since they loved playing with each other so much why not merge. The two groups merged in April of 2003 to form the 1stSF/17thSS. The clans name was later shortened to 1stSF/SS.
