Hello everyone and welcome to BiHnet BF 1942 server!
We are one of the oldest BF 1942 servers around and we will remain online for as long as you like to play BF @ BiHnet.

If you want to play @ BiHnet you will need
- BF 1942
- BF patch which can be download here ftp://ftp.bih.net.ba/pub/games/BF
/battlefield_1942_patch_v1.6.19.exe

From time to time we also run map packs for the BF. Map pack names are "Road to Rome" and "Secret weapons of the WW2". According the GT rules its not allowed to post links to those map packs so you ll have to find downloads for yourself.

If you dont have those map packs you can still play ordinary BF 1942 at our server

If you are here to have fun and to play fair - then you are welcome! Please keep in mind that teamkilling, teamwounding, teamstacking, grenadewhoring and playing against your team is not allowed. Also politics, racism, nationalism etc... We are nice and friendly place where you can enjoy the BF and keep that in mind.

*** SERVER RULES ***
BiHnet server have many rules, reason for that is that we want nice and calm place where we all can play BF wihout bad words, provocations, getting nervous and other inappropriate behaviour.

If you want to spend a lot of time on our server please read the server rules and recommendations:

- friendly fire is ON, means if you shot your teammate you ll wound / kill him
- camping is allowed on any spawn but ... read the rules under...


its not allowed:

generally:
- cheating
any kind of cheating (including but not limited to - wall hacks, aimbots, no fog, minimap hack, anyswitch - weapon kit hacks...)

- glitching
any kind of glitching (glitching is when you use BF flaw to get to the place which is uncommon and not accessible by regular playing - like use tank to enter the empty zone under hangar from the rear side on El Alamein)


in game:

- Bad nicks
bad nicks consist of provocations of any kind (xy suck ...) , political nicks (Obamarules!...), nazi nicks (Goring, DrMengele, Duce...), separatistic nicks (tibet,catalonia, quebec ...), generally speaking you cant have nick whicih will likely provoke others

- teamkilling
(when you shot own teammate intentionally, we are especially strict if you teamkill for the plane, tank or similar)

- teamwounding
(when you wound your teammate intentionally, we are especially strict if you teamwound while waiting for plane or tank or similar usually with knife or pistol)

- disrupting gameplay
want to beach the carrier? like to block the own planes with the jeep you just took? its awesome to take a driver seat in the boat and then not to drive when its full? like to take a plane and just sit inside? like to take a only tank, hide it well and from the safe point make easy kills while your team struggle for the every inch of the map? DONT!

- grenadewhoring (when you lay or stand next to ammo box and throw grenades all the time, you can lay there but not to throw more than three grenades in a row - especially at Stalingrad)

- window glitching
when you hide in the back room in hangars and shot thru the window (we consider this as a glitch because you can shot outside but no one can shot you inside thru the window)

- expacking the flags
placing the explosive packs around the flags and waiting for someone to get close enough to blow him up its not allowed, dont place expacks around or near the flags (we ban for that), anti vehicles mines are OK, expacks are NOT.

- insulting of any kind
racism, nacism, nationalism, homophobia etc

- provocations of any kind
same as above

- radio message spam
like to call artillery for 20 times in a row? DONT! we have ears, once is enough

- dont change teams just to win, if your team lose and also have less players and we catch you that you changed the team just to win thus making even greater disbalance its called teamstacking and we warn, kick and ban for that


General info
- camping is allowed on any spawn but keep in mind that we wont allow excessive camping, if we notice that you play all the time just for yourself, camping all the time, we will warn, kick and ban you
- try to balance the teams, BF is not fun if one team is much stronger than another, if you are good player take look which team is weaker and change to that team please


General recommendations how to be loved by the admins
- play for your team - be useful player, not for yourself than for the team
- pick up the teammates when you are in vehicle
- if you are medic - heal, if you are engineer - repair
- dont take wrong kits (asaults, antitank) at maps like coral, battle for britain etc
- dont camp too much
- dont insult, make problems
- be kind to others


Why you dont kick or ban the teamkillers or people which insult
Admins and mods are not online all the time, theres a lot of us but we cant cover every single piece of map whole day so if someone teamkill you intentionally and we dont see that we rely on the punkbuster. Punkbuster is part of the BF server whicih taking care about the bad words (insults), teamkillers etc. Its set to kick after 3 bad words (server will warn you first) or after 5 teamkills. So if someone teamkill a lot and admin is not online after 5 teamkills server will automatically kick the person. Be kicked for few times - server will ban you automatically.

Why you dont kick or ban the teamkillers or people which insult or cheat when I report them?
We cant trust all the people on the server, in every game at least ten times people request that we ban or kick some other player. How can we know that you know the rules and that you can decide is something for the kick or ban? Maybe you killed some person and that person to retaliate ask us to kick or ban you? Maybe you are beginner and you just dont know for the BF tricks so someone looks like a cheater to you? Should we trust you in cases like that? We dont kick or ban by the request therefore. You cant demand it if you are new at the server. Only old and reliable players can request kick or ban and if you ask yourself are you old and reliable then you are probably not. You need few years of playing at BiHnet for that.

OK but I really saw the person cheating, can you ban him ?
Yes, send us a proof of that (picture, video etc) and if we see that you are right we will ban.
