It seems to me that Tremulous, like Urban Terror and the Wolfensteins, has little or no resemblance to Q3 Arena at all (aside from using the Q3 game engine).

Maybe these guys and girls deserve their own game classification by now? Just like UT and wolfy.

Right, also Tremulous runs on protocol 69 and 70, while Q3A runs protocol 68...dunno why they even show up here.

we run on an older protocol (than 68 ) and still show up.
I think to be fair, the Q3 rankings are where many Q3 engined games have been 'dumped' or naturally gravitated to when there isn't a specific group for them to join.
Who can blame them for wanting to be noticed?
Though you would be amazed how many Urban Terror and COD servers appear there from time to time as well.

even tho the protocol is differnt, gametracker shows the information about the tremulous server correctly.

i think tremulous server owners will be very happy with gametracker if they give tremulous its own classification!

Can anyone say if there is a better forum to present the question to the Gametracker admins ?

There is a thread in the bug reports forum that is used for game requests. Please note that it says we rarely if ever respond to individual game requests.
