Hello everyone,
I just installed a L4D2 Dedicated server and opened the ports etc. According to GT the server is up and running but I'm unable to connect, each time I get the message "Server timeout after 10 retries". Also the server keeps crashing after a little while. Anyone can help me? Thanks!

Can you join other servers from your computer? You may also need to allow traffic for the game on your local computer in order to play online. If your server is crashing, that is not normal. You may want to try a reinstall with the default config and see if it happens again. If it does, you might have set settings incorrectly or it may be related to a map or mod added. If it does not help, it might be the server it is running off of. Do you have a good enough computer? Is there anything in the server logs?
