pls Help ! ! ! ... when ever i try to connect to gungame, hide n seek , or any special mod server it says Disconnected could not connect to server ..so I'm stuck playing with the normal gun when i love playing on hns servers

Could you explain a bit more about your problem?
There are many servers on GameTracker, if you are not able to join some then try other servers.

whenever i connect to any server it says "could not connect to server"

I can connect and play on any normal cs 1.6 server which have maps like de_dust or inferno ... but when i try to connect to servers with maps like hns_floppytown .. gun game (gg)... ZM (zombie) or any server with these maps/mods ... i get that problem of could not connect to server ....
I'm using windows 7 ... i have reinstalled the game about 15 times now (downloaded 3 versions of cs1.6) the problem still exist
lemme know if there something more you need to know ... I'll reply in 24 hrs

Hi,
That is very odd, if you are able to connect to normal servers than you should be able to connect to others as well. Could you take some snapshots of trying to connect to those servers and then post them here.

Maybe the servers which you are trying to connect to are old servers which are now offline. Try connecting to some other servers that are using those maps and then tell me if still get this problem:

I'll take the snapshots after a few hours ... got tutions now , the servers that i try to connect are mostly from joister(not old) ... i can only connect if those servers have de dust or inferno kind of maps ... anything else like gg, hns, and even awp maps ...cant connect to those. And my cs name is BlackHawk in case you saw me

You first have to upload the image to a Image Hosting Service.
Try PostImage.org, its free.

Then embed it here using the IMG BB-Code.

Sorry for the trouble .. Finally found a solution to this problem ... from someone who had the same ,
To all those who do have The same problem , see the map u download ..
search it on google , download and replace it in your maps folder ......... after that download all the extra modles u need and move them to the folders they should be in .. to know what extras u need , try joining the server and when u get an error like "model no should be 30" see the path and replace that with the new download , by default those kind of files are 5 kb files , so replace all those 5 kb and try again ..if u get an error again , do the same thing till u can join .
