For the router see the thread and for the firewall see this image:


When you will first run your HLDS firewall will ask you to allow. Just click unblock. If you denied it then go to your firewall settings and go to exceptions tab and delete all the HLDS entries over there and run HLDS again. The firewall will ask you again and this time click unblock.

hey dude Sorry for taking some from your time . i just done all points you told me to do , but it still not working i don't know why , i must put my server up online on a website may this is the reason why not working yet ? i asked some of friends to try and get in my server they can't find my server online and i'm done with all points you told me to do ...i hope you have any idea about that and i hope to read from you soon thanks , have a great day .

Hey guys, I am having a problem.
The Game Tracker application is not noticing that I have the game (Counter Strike 1.6), and says that please install the game first to play.

I have opened the game and played the Bots game !

Please help, I really want to play with online and live people rather than with Dumb NPC's !

You can join a server by copying the server's address from the GameTracker Server Page and then opening the console in the Counter-Strike 1.6 (by pressing `) and typing:
connect XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:Port
Replace the XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX with the server's ip address and Port with the server's port such as connect 192.168.1.1:27015.
You can also click on Find Servers or Server Browser in the game and select the Favorites tab, click Add Server and type the Server's Ip Address by looking it up on GameTracker and pressing enter. A new server will be added in the list above and you can join it by double-clicking it.

As for the GameTracker Lite (GT Lite) problem, I don't know much as have not used it but one thing I know that this application only supports Steam Counter-Strike 1.6 and Non-Steam Counter-Strike is NOT supported. You should download Steam Counter-Strike 1.6 from > http://store.steampowered.com/app/10/
