I see players comments typed in the lower left of my screen in game play...but every time I try to type something in, I get a syntax error message. How do I type comments during game play?

Type the letter "K" to enter a message that everyone can see; type "L" to enter a message that only your team can see. If that doesn't work reinstall the program. If that doesn't work, I don't know...
