How to make one of my member be moderator?

It depends which forum software you use. I would recommend searching at the appropriate forums homepage for specific instructions on setting up moderators and the different permissions you can give them.

Populating the server is the best way. If you can add your website or contact information to server messages, descriptions, etc. that will be the best.

The players who frequent your servers or stay on for a while will be your best target. I would recommend asking those select players directly and/or saying "anyone want to join NBK?" when you are in the server. It would be annoying to ask each player personally to join, along with time consuming for you.

It will take a lot of time at first and will go slow, most likely, but if you can bring in good members, it will be much easier to recruit in the future.

I know I am new at the Forums here mates ! Burn that is very true , and thank you ! Also it is best to find the players (or player) that gives the most time to your server , following rules and ect.. -Target them and get them active on your web-site-(if you have one for your clan) Also it is a good Idea to use a voice program , such as skype or team-speak-Vent . Target them and invite them to have a interview with you then decide if you want to give limited Mod on your server -such as kick or kick and tem-ban rights, do not rush and give them total control - Messy and bad when you do .. Give them at least 2 weeks to show there commitment and so fourth before you do anything further , it shows a commitment! Also what I do is run a Rcon for the server and scroll rules and messages , it allows you to tell all players in your server that you are looking for new members!
