Gametracker slow scan

Uh oh..4-5 min delays.

Also a general question. Players in spec seem to not show as being on the server, as they do in say COD4. Any reason?

Hi,

The spec issue may be how the game reports or it may be due to some mod addition you run. If you download HLSW (hlsw.org) you can see how your server reports and compare it to the site.

I've not seen 4-5 minute delays, but I have not watched for too long. Does this still occur?

It seems to flux..sometimes 3 mins, then 4, then 5..but at least it isn't the hours we had at one time LOL. If that scan time is normal, then no problem.
The spec thing just was unusual to me, especially since COD shows the spectators, which is what I am used to. I will do some checking on the issue and post what I find.
Thanks for your help, as always. Trying to help out some old UT friends and their clan.

Hello,

Most games do not report spectators. In certain games, we filter spectators that can be detected accurately.

As Burn has mentioned, if a mod is reporting spectators as players then those will show up in the player list.

5 minutes is slightly on the high side of our scanning spectrum, we will monitor your server when evaluating scan quality.

The scan is still between 5-13 minutes now. Any help would be appreciated.

Greetings..the server is scanned properly but is more than 2 hours behind in reporting scan. As of 11:40 am, it has not shown a 'historical data' change since 9am. Just wondering.

Yes, the historical graph does seem slow on your server.

This could be a bug on GameTracker. I will forward this info for one of our developers to investigate. Any updates will be posted in this thread.

TY for replying. Still a little slow and the scan times have been up to 15+ minutes at times.

** as of 6/17 the historical data graph is more than 3 hours behind

There is still a 2 hour lag with the historical graph. I understand that maybe UT isn't a priority but even though there are 3-5 players on for more than 30 minutes, it rarely shows that there were more than 2 or 3 on.
