About Us
| Welcome To 187th Ne Desit Virtus – Let Valor Not Fail Welcome to 187th The Rakkasans. We are a Day of Defeat Clan named after the 187th Infantry Regiment, the only airborne regiment in the history of the US Army to fight in every war since the inception of airborne tactics. The 187th received the name of Rakkasans from the Japanese during the occupation, it literally means “Falling Down Umbrella” We are a fairly new clan, a little over one year old, but have already seen some major growth in the short time we have been around.
