New Stats Added

After 2 weeks or so of testing i feel confident to release the stats page to the public. It can be found at:
http:://xsinthis.profusehost.net/skulshock/stats

It provides heatmaps, clan support, ranks based on skill levels using a formula, not just kills or a K

ratio. It updates nightly, along with the heatmaps.

I will be linking to it on the steam group.

Of Clan and Community

First of all, I’d like to recall the previous announcement. I was mixed up on the information, but I’ve gotten it all cleared up, so here goes explaining Skul`Shock, its clan and community.

First the community: Anyone who plays on the server is part of the Skul`Shock community. We are an open community that allows anyone in. We are here simply for the love of gaming. We do span several servers and games, but we're one big family, and I'd like to encourage that by getting everyone to participate on the forums. Don't be shy, dive in there!

Now about the clan: As stated before, the Hamr` clan is the official clan of Skul`Shock; its tag is what we call the Hamr(`) and is placed anywhere within the player’s name. Anyone wearing this tag is part of the Hamr` clan, and members of the clan can be known by wearing the tag. The clan does not discriminate just like the community, so no matter your skill level, you can join if you wish.

Also, I want to take some time to introduce the concept of Inter-S`S teams. Teams already exist for HL2

M and L4D, and they are teams made up of Skul`Shockers that face off against each other inside the Skul`Shock environment. These do not fight as a team outside Skul`Shock, and are not a clan. I am going to go through the exact details with the other Master Admin and inquire if other Skul`Shock teams want to extend to TF2, but we are obviously going to have to have a bigger team roster for TF2 than DM or L4D.

Looking for an Admin for [____Skul`Shock Fortress____]

We're looking for someone to become an Admin Associate for the server. An Admin Associate is basically a normal admin with kick ban and fun command powers. The requirements are:

- at least 16 years of age
- be a regular on the server
- be willing to help seed the server
- be willing to participate on the forum
- show a certain level of maturity

Experience as a server admin is also recomended

About Us

The Skul`Shock Community is large and old one, originally founded by SkulHamr` and Pl4tinum. It is now run by DirtyDave, with many different servers owned by different people. This allows us to have a unique experience based of the same core for every server. We are mostly in HL2: DM but are expanding to other games like Team Fortress 2 and Left for Dead.
