NDM LAN

Get Ready for another NDM lAN. October 24th 3pm-11am at the Comfort Suites in Mattoon, IL. Located at Exit 190B I57and RT.16.
Bring your rig and some snacks and get ready to FRAG. Invite your friends. We will also be doing a Windows 7 demo as we have two copies for the Global launch. $5 for all this gaming goodness!! More info to come!

New Left 4 Dead DLC Announced!

Valve today announced the next major downloadable content update for its co-operative zombie thriller, Left 4 Dead.
Entitled "Crash Course," the latest DLC delivers new single-player, multiplayer and co-operative gameplay to both platforms. Targeted for release in September, "Crash Course" bridges the gap between the end of the "No Mercy" campaign and the beginning of "Death Toll" in the original game, expanding the game universe with new locations, new dialogue from the original cast, and an explosive finale.
While containing both Survival maps and a Co-operative Campaign, the primary goal of "Crash" is to deliver a complete Versus mode experience in just 30 minutes, resulting in a streamlined version of the game's existing Versus campaigns. A recharge timer for infected teammates has also been added, and item spawn behavior has changed for more balanced gameplay.
Left 4 Dead: Crash Course is targeted for release in September and will be available free of charge on the PC and for 560 Gamer points on Xbox Live.

3D Realms Countersuit Reveals Continuing Duke Nukem Forever Work, New Duke Game

Duke Nukem series creator 3D Realms/Apogee Ltd. has responded to publisher Take-Two's lawsuit over the incomplete state of Duke Nukem Forever, revealing that 3DR is continuing to work on the long-delayed title alongside word that a previously unknown separate Duke game was in the works at a "well-known videogame developer."
The developer also shed additional light on negotiations with Take-Two regarding a 3D Realms-developed Xbox 360 edition of the then-PC only Duke Nukem Forever. Along with the Xbox 360 port, the negotiations included the addition of multiplayer and the funding necessary for 3D Realms to complete Duke Nukem Forever PC within 12 months.
