The =8th= Desert Rats Batallion came about because we were bored one day and fed up of playing multiplayer games such as Call of Duty 2 as lone wolves, we decided to attempt to put together a gaming community that would stand the test of time, and hopefully this is the start of a great place to make real friends.

The clan was setup on 2nd February 2006 and has gone through quite a few upheavals to get to the position we are at now, we used to be a multi-cultural clan having members from Greece and America but after these members left it was decided that the best way forward was to become a British Only Clan - as such we only take members from the UK,
